What are the benefits of coaching for you?
Coaching will help you to identify your strengths and weaknesses, overcome the obstacles holding you back and create new thoughts. Above all, you will align who you are, what you want and what you do. To clarify, you will do what YOU want to do and go in the direction YOU want to go.
Most importantly, you will decide what it is that you want and let go of the weight of other people’s expectations or opinions. In addition with coaching your emotional health and wellbeing will help to create a sense of plenitude and serenity in your everyday life. For instance, you will be able to:
- Set boundaries to better balance time and energy.
- Develop your work and career.
- Become self-confident by minimising your self-talk and abolishing inner critic.
- Gain self-esteem.
- Find motivation, focus and courage to face objectives.
- Prepare for a change in lifestyle (becoming self-employed, expatriation, etc.).
- Improve relationship (family, friends, colleagues).
- Confront and resolve professional difficulties.
- And so much more!
How many sessions do you need?
This will depend purely on your objective, your needs, your preferences and your implication in the process. During the initial conversation, we will determine together what best suits you.
For instance, if you have a specific issue and would like to achieve a brief, focused work, one to three sessions might be enough.
On the other hand, if you want to work towards an objective and/or get help with coaching for your emotional health and wellbeing, I recommend at least six to ten sessions over three to six months. This would be an optimum length of time to achieve and maintain sustainable results.
Session lengths are usually 60 minutes.
Objectives and goals: what happens if you don’t know what you want?
“I feel like coaching would help me but I’m not exactly sure what my goals are. However, I know that there are some things going on for me and I could use some help.”
In coaching, we speak a lot about goals and objectives; they are used as a frame for what success would look like for you. While some people have very clear and defined objectives, some other people don’t have anything in mind or struggle to define their goals. “I just want to feel better”, “I would like to discover what is my purpose in my life”, “I want to find my what I truly want”, “I would like to take time to figure things out”. Whether you already have the coordinates of the direction you want to take or if you’re looking in which direction the wind comes from and goes to, Perspective 7 will help you work through the process!
How much is the investment?
- The initial introductory session is free and without engagement. After discussing your requirements and how we can best achieve the results you want, we will determine the number of sessions you might need.
- Sessions are done 1:1 and are 100% confidential.
- Sessions can be purchased on a ‘pay as you go’ basis or as package (3, 6 or 10 sessions). For individual coaching, the standard price for one hour coaching session face to face in North Edinburgh or through video-call is £70 . A reduction of 5% applies if you buy 6 sessions package (total £399) or 10% for 10 sessions packages (£630).
What are the next steps?
Whether you are already ready to start a coaching journey or if you just want some information, we will first have an initial conversation (free). First and foremost, we will discuss the coaching process, your expectations and finally see if coaching is suitable for you. Ultimately, it’s indispensable that you feel comfortable with your coach and with the coaching process. Then we will start the journey towards your goal(s)!
If you are in North Edinburgh, we can meet in person or online. Otherwise, if you are based anywhere else around the world, we will meet online. Virtual coaching is as effective as in-person coaching. The same coaching tools and coaching competencies are applicable regardless of the coaching environment. In short, the outcomes of the sessions will be the same whether we meet in person or virtually!
Additionally, coaching-walking sessions are also available in Edinburgh (Water of Leith or Botanic Garden). Coaching-walking allows one to enjoy the fresh air and exercise while having the time, space and tranquillity to really think about things.
